Vlucht van de Vogels

For Vlucht van de Vogels I worked with a visual language inspired by Persian colours and geometric art. Rich, full spreads with layered textures alternate with standalone illustrations to heighten the emotion.

The book is a fairy-tale-like retelling of a classic Sufi story, for readers of all ages, about the search for who you truly are. With my illustrations I want to make that inner journey visible — full of beauty, love, fear, adventure and quiet wonder.
